Fair Oaks Blvd Bicycle & Pedestrian Mobility Project - Phase 2

Project Description

This project will improve bicycle and pedestrian safety and mobility through the mixed use of developments between Munroe and Howe. Fair Oak Blvd will be reduced to 4 lanes and separated bike lanes will be added. Sidewalks impeded by utilities will be widened and 2 new traffic signals will be added.  Additionally, the Fair Oaks Blvd/Fulton Ave intersection will be modified.

  • Design: 2023 to 2025
  • Right-of-Way Acquisition: 2023 to 2025​

Funding

Estimated total construction cost is 10$ million and will be funded by a Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) grant, a Rural Surface Transportation Program (RSTP) grant, Measure A and Developer Fee Funding.​
