This project will improve bicyclist and pedestrian facilities and resurface the roadway pavement for three miles along Florin Road between Franklin Boulevard and Power Inn Road in South Sacramento (District 2). The project includes installation of Class 2 bike lanes, upgrading existing traffic signals to accommodate bicyclists and pedestrians, update sidewalk ramps to current ADA standards, and improve bus stops between Franklin Boulevard and Chandler Drive, and the installation of new street lights between Chandler Drive and Power Inn Road.

Funding
Estimated construction cost is $11.6 million, with funding provided by a combination of Federal Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP), Federal Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBGP), District 2 Senate Bill (SB1) Local Streets and Roads Program (LSRP), and a local percentage match from the Sacramento County Measure A Sales Tax.
