The proposed project consists of replacement of the timber trestle bridge with a new concrete structure at Franklin Boulevard at Lost Slough north of Desmond Road in south Sacramento County.
Tentative Schedule
- Preliminary Study: 2011 to 2012.
- Environmental Study: 2012 to 2016.
- Design: 2012 to 2018.
- Right-of-Way Acquisition: 2018 to 2019.
- Construction: 2020.
Funding
The estimated cost for the bridge replacement project is $11.3 million. Project costs will be covered with funds from the Federal High Bridge Replacement (HBP) and the Road Fund.
