The Traffic Signs and Marking Section performs maintenance on ALL non-electrical traffic control devices.
Currently, SACDOT maintains 95,169 traffic signs, 22,466 marking (legends), 2,650 painted lane miles and 60,000 raised pavement markers
Non-electrical Traffic Control Devices include:
- All traffic signs (regulatory, warning, and informational).
- All painted and thermo-plastic lane lines.
- All raised reflective and not reflective pavement marker (except fire hydrant markers).
- All roadside delineation (guide markers).
- All painted and thermo-plastic pavement markings such as arrows legends, limit lines, and crosswalks.
